- With improved methods for reverse-engineering, more spites were successfully ripped from the original Hugo games, with which we managed to increase the accuracy to the source material and decrease flaws. Though it also came with the cost of cool fire effects in cliffhanger-minigame.
- Speaking of which, the Arcade-version of the Cliffhanger minigame is polished and altered with some of the unused spritework.
- Minor flaws in the labyrinth, handcart and ice cave minigames have been fixed
- Issues with Wild River minigame's deadends have been fixed
- Issues with Boulder minigame's maps, forked roads, deadends and spring boards have been fixed
- Some FMVs have successfully been replaced with sprite animation and separate audio tracks, reducing the directory and installer sizes big time.
- Improved text-blittering
- Lip-sync system improved further, making it less dependent on framerate.
- Improved localization methods. And the texts should now be visible no matter where you install the game.
- Speaking of localization, as the official English version of Hugo 6 (Wild River) had finally been discovered, Hugo's English dialogue in Wild River and Boulder minigames have been upgraded. This upgrade will also be applied to Agent Hugo LA some time.
- Some sounds have been tweaked
- Handcart, motorcycle and wild river minigames now have background music
- In V 1.0, the preferences couldn't be saved unless you launched the game as an administrator. This issue is fixed now and you should be able to save the preferences even when you launch the game normally.
- A new resolution option added: Big window. Same as regular windowed mode, but with doubled resolution
- V-sync setting added, just in case. If changing this setting doesn't make any significant difference, let us know and we remove it.
- Improved multiplayer system. Now the next player can take over each time the first player loses a life, instead of having to wait through his/her playthrough. Plus the progress of the previous player gets saved each time.
